Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2025

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Yateland Kids Limited (“Yateland”, “we”, “us”) collects through our mobile apps and website, how we use it, and your choices.

What We Collect in Our Apps

We do not require children to provide personal information to use our apps. We do not collect personal information from children in our apps, including persistent identifiers for analytics or advertising. We do not use third‑party analytics SDKs in our apps.

If in the future we collect a persistent identifier strictly to support internal operations (e.g., security or crash mitigation), we will provide the notice required by law and ensure the identifier is not used to contact a specific individual, for behavioral advertising, or to build a profile. We will update this Privacy Policy before any such change takes effect.

Support Requests

If you contact us for support, we will receive your email address and any information you include. We use this information only to answer your request and to improve support quality.

If a child contacts us, we use the child’s online contact information one time to respond and then delete it.

Push Notifications

Our child‑directed apps do not send push notifications at this time.

If in the future we enable notifications for parents, we will first obtain verifiable parental consent (where required) and will limit messages to functional communications (for example, how to interact with app features). Any device token used to deliver notifications will be used only for that purpose and deleted when notifications are disabled.

Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website is a self-hosted WordPress site. For regular visitors, we do not set non-essential cookies and we do not run analytics, advertising, or social media tracking scripts.

WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies only on the admin/login pages:

  • wordpress_test_cookie and wp_lang: used to check whether the browser supports cookies and to remember the language on the login page;

  • Authentication/preference cookies (e.g., wordpress_[hash], wordpress_logged_in_[hash], wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-*): used only after a site administrator signs in to the dashboard.

We do not use any third-party cookies. If we add features in the future that require additional cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Support: We may share support emails with service providers solely to help resolve your request.

  • Safety, security, and legal: We may disclose information to protect the security or integrity of our services, take precautions against liability, respond to judicial process, or provide information to law enforcement or for public‑safety investigations as permitted by law.

We do not use third‑party analytics SDKs in our apps.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Children’s information: If we receive a child’s online contact information to answer a one‑time request, we delete it after responding.

  • Support emails: Retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and for up to 180 days for quality assurance, then deleted.

We maintain internal policies and technical measures to ensure personal information is retained only for as long as needed for the stated purpose and is deleted using reasonable safeguards.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we handle a parent’s email address or children’s information, the updated Policy will apply prospectively from the effective date stated on this page. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will follow those requirements.
